HPD officers OK after cruiser slams into parked cars in north Houston – Chron

Two Houston police officers are expected to be OK after crashing into two other vehicles Friday afternoon in north Houston.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 700 block of W. Little York Road at Green Meadow Lane.

The Houston police squad car appears to have been going westbound on Little York when it veered into a parking lot, smashing into two black pickup trucks.

Officers on scene told Chron.com that two officers in the police SUV are expected to be OK.

HPD was chasing a stolen vehicle in the same area around the same time as the police vehicle crashed, although it is not yet confirmed if those are connected.
