Slow Food Italian Night: Carla Bartolucci of Jovial

Slow Food Italian Night: Carla Bartolucci of Jovial

Join us Tuesday, March 5, 6:00-8:30pm in Topanga Canyon at the home of author Hilary Boynton for an evening of Classic Italian food, drinks and a talk with Carla Bartolucci of Jovial Foods and Bionature

Hilary Boynton and Slow Food Ventura County are your hosts and will provide classic Italian fare made with Jovial and Bionature pastas, sauces, olive oil, vinegar and fruits. We will feature meats from Pasturebird & Primal Pastures and compliment with locally sourced ingredients, small batch specialty coffee and dessert.

The evening is dedicated to the topic of grains, gluten and Carla Bartolucci’s work in creating products and recipes using Einkorn, the most ancient of wheats. She will share stories of her work in Italy and shed important light on how we can still enjoy the most ubiquitous of foods: wheats and grains – when properly prepared.
