Women Who Hike National Trails Day w/ Ventura Land Trust

Women Who Hike National Trails Day w/ Ventura Land Trust

Join Women Who Hike and Ventura Land Trust for a Trail Day and an opportunity to learn more about public lands and trails here in Southern California! Saturday, June 1th 9am

We will be joining the Ventura Land Trust staff and volunteers to help build trails for future use at Harmon Canyon. This sneak peek of the preserve is your chance to come out and help build trails that will be used by the community for years to come. Ventura is lacking in public trails and we need your help to change that. Come roll up your sleeves and get to work with us on this special day.

Please wear long pants, long sleeves, sturdy closed-toe shoes (preferably hiking boots), sunscreen, hat, and reusable water bottle. We will bring gloves and tools, though you are welcome to bring your own if you have a particular preference. We will be starting early to try to avoid the mid-day heat.

Notes On Parking/Directions To Trailhead: Harmon Canyon: 7511 Foothill Rd Ventura, CA 93003.

Please no dogs.

If you are canceling, you must do so here through Eventbrite. Please do not email us to cancel your ticket. You can cancel your ticket by using the in your confirmation email from Eventbrite or by signing into your Eventbrite account. If you have an extenuating circumstance for having to cancel, please let us know via email, info@womenwhohike.com. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

About The Waitlist: Why do we have a waitlist? We are a Leave No Trace community group and follow the 7 Leave No Trace principles which includes ‘Being Considerate To Other Visitors.’ This means that all of our group hike events have a cap # which is contingent upon where we are hiking and what is an appropriate # for the group hike and group hike hosts. If you have placed yourself on our waitlist we usually release tickets the week before and week of. We release tickets in the waitlist order and cannot make special exceptions for adding a plus one etc. Should a spot open up, an email will be sent to you asking you to confirm your ticket within 24 hours. If you do not confirm, your ticket will not be valid and will be released to the next person in line on the waitlist.
